The younger brother of Ronard Lensenbrink (alias "Weasel") was a mercenary.
Biography[]
In a misguided attempt to follow in his older sibling's footsteps, Weasel's brother joined a mercenary outfit some time prior to 1997. Weasel believed his brother was not skilled enough to make a living as a soldier of fortune, and thought it was a foolish endeavor. Despite of that, Weasel gave his brother a lucky pendant at some point.
In 1997, Weasel and his brother found themselves fighting under the employ of two opposing sides of a conflict, with the latter's side eventually losing. Although he had a chance to warn his younger sibling about an incoming attack on his position, Weasel ultimately failed to do so; the following day, the attack resulted in his brother's death. When Weasel found his corpse, he saw that the lucky pendant had been chewed through, indicating that in his final moments, his brother was extremely angry. This discovery led him to believe his brother died blaming Weasel for his unfortunate demise.
Despite Weasel not being directly responsible for his brother's death, rumors began to spread that he had murdered his brother, adding to Weasel's fearsome reputation. Shortly afterwards, in large part because of these rumors, Weasel's mother committed suicide, and his father, enraged over the loss of his wife and younger son, blamed Weasel for their deaths; this sentiment eventually culminated in Weasel's father attacking him with a knife. The encounter earned Weasel a prominent scar above his right eye, while his father was left wheelchair-bound.
Years later, Weasel would admit that his brother was the one person he ever cared about.
