Ulysses was a high-ranking police officer within the Denver Police Department, as well as a cyborg commander of World Marshal Inc. His cyborg serial code was 573 52211 2617.


Early life

At some point during the early 2010s, Ulysses ended up experimented on by the Patriots, resulting in him becoming a cyborg. His left arm, in particular, was replaced with a cybernetic one, containing data from the Patriots.

After the Patriots' fall, he ended up joining the Denver Police Department, acting as a peace officer since at least World Marshal Inc. took control of the privatized police department thanks to small-government legislation passed by then-state senator Steven Armstrong.

In 2018, Ulysses led a contingent of cyborg cops, an armored cyborg, and sliders on one of the cityscape's rooftops to guard the area from Raiden, shortly after his arrival in the city to raid World Marshal Inc.'s HQ building. He himself utilized a slider to search the area. Raiden eventually arrived from the south adjacent office building via jumping off a crane, and proceeded to wipe out the unit, including Ulysses after taking out his slider, and proceeded to remove his arm in the process.

Behind the scenes

Ulysses is a character in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, as well as one of thirty cyborgs to contain retrievable left arms in the game. He acts as the fourth cyborg commander in Chapter R-03, guarding the second roof area of the rooftop section, found in a slider.
