Tsubasa Masao (政尾 翼 Masao Tsubasa?, born May 5, 1974, in Saitama, Japan) is a Japanese illustrator and conceptual artist. He was employed by Konami in 1997 and would go on to work on a number of games in the Metal Gear series, most notably serving as character designer for Metal Gear Acid and its sequel, Metal Gear Acid 2. He also helped with the facial expressions in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and was a character designer for Guy Savage and in Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner (where he worked alongside Nobuyoshi Nishimura). After Metal Gear Acid 2, he would leave Konami and join Square Enix, working on titles such as Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes of Light, Tactics Ogre: Wheel of Fate and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
