Theme of Solid Snake was a musical piece from the game Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake that, as the name implied, acted as the theme song for the game. It featured repetitive beats followed by more techno beats as well as a more ominous melody that gradually rises. It eventually has high pitched beats halfway through the song, and eventually closes with a more hopeful tune before descending to the more ominous tune and then an ominous screech.

It plays during the Metal Gear D blueprint credits intro for the game.

A more high-pitched remix was included for Metal Gear Solid: Integral.

The song as it appeared in Metal Gear 2 is one of the playable songs for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Likewise, a new electric guitar based remix was utilized for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This theme was used for the BGM for the Wesker spirit battle in the latter game, as an indirect allusion to the song's composer, Masami Ueda, later acting as the main composer for the first three Resident Evil games (the first Resident Evil in 1996, the original version of Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis).
