Part Two of the retrospective was released on May 17, 2008. It focused on Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions, and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.
Part Three[]
Part Three of the retrospective was released on May 25, 2008. It focused on Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance.
Part Four[]
Part Four of the retrospective was released on June 2, 2008. It focused on Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, and the story of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.

Part Five of the retrospective was released on June 10, 2008. It focused on Metal Gear: Ghost Babel, Metal Gear Acid 1, 2, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus.

Part Six of the retrospective was released on June 12, 2008. It focused on a very detailed history of all the important events in the Metal Gear series, all leading up to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
