I'm not all that good at editing wikis and stuff so I figured I'd check before I changed anything:
The military hardware list of this page is a little vague. Surely FOXHOUND and the Genome soldiers who came together to form Sons of Big Boss during the Shadow Moses incident would have access to all the weapons and equipment the Solid Snake found on Shadow Moses island. Which should be:
SOCOM Pistol
FA-MAS Rifle
PSG-1 Rifle
Hand Grenades
Chaff Grenades
Stun Grenades
C4 Explosives
Stinger Missiles
Nikita RC Missiles
Claymore Mines
Thermal Goggles
Night Vision Googlies
Just because you never saw anyone using these in the game doesn't mean they weren't used. It doesn't make sense that they would pack their base with this equipment and never use it.
Should we update the page with this list? Or not? If not why not? What alterations do you think should be made to this list? Anything added, anything taken, anything changed?
- I don't think you should update the list. first of all I'm not convinced that list should be there. Secondly this wiki is about the facts shown in the games. If they didn't address this then it is open to interpretation and should not be mentioned.
- The weapons at the base were obviously different to what the terrorists were using. because of this they would not be as well trained on them and had no idea how well maintained they were. besides they had brought their own equipment that did not have these problems so why would they take that risk. This scenario is just as plausible as your own so it wouldn't make sense to add it. --Drawde83 01:51, April 20, 2010 (UTC)
