in portable ops Ocelot gained the second half of the legacy and then zero had both halfs. it makes sense then that Ocelot lied when he said that the KGB had half and instead he kept it. He had to give some to the CIA so they wouldn't get suspicious. does that theory make sense? I would like to work this into the article. --Drawde83 20:12, October 21, 2009 (UTC)
Microfilm?[]
Was Snake really seen with the microfilm after EVA left in MGS3 (don't remember that)? --Bluerock 15:37, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, he does. It's an odd moment, and they don't really explain it. --Fantomas 22:06, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
- At least that explains why Snake, in Portable Ops, says that the CIA took the legacy [from him] right after Operation Snake Eater. But wouldn't EVA have taken it if it was just lying right there? How did she end up with a fake microfilm? Has this really not been explained anywhere at all? --Bluerock 19:20, April 19, 2010 (UTC)
Philosophers' Legacy[]
It says in the wiki that only half of the legacy had been retrieved during SNAKE EATER and then Ocelot and Zero retrieved the second part from the DCI during the San Herionymo Takeover. Is it in fact true that when Ocelot said to the DCI in the phone call in SNAKE EATER that he obtained half and believed the rest to be in the hands of the KGB - it was in fact the DCI had the other half too?
