Different Drives[]

Do the AI drives in the storyline battle with Peace Walker serve a purpose, since they don't have any of the four letters on them? WolfMaster 14:00, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

Not for ZEKE, they do help Snake get over the death of The Boss and finally accept himself as Big Boss. But in gameplay terms no just story and a inside joke while you're removing, at least as far as I can tell.

Yeah about that. Was it naming people or just places in Japan? WolfMaster 17:33, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

It is naming the railway stations of the Nose railway in Japan, the same Sunny sang in MGS4 Anton3055 18:50, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

The First Metal Gear?[]

Metal Gear, as defined by Granin, are walking, nuclear armed tanks. His original design looked pretty much just like REX, but Im just looking at the concept here. With these traits, wouldnt Peace Walker be the first real Metal Gear? I know there is RAXA (tho its canonicity is questionable) but that wasn't a walker, that was a nuclear armed VTOL, not a tank. So by definition, RAXA is not a Metal Gear (despite the name).RemingtonV (talk) 08:02, December 31, 2017 (UTC)

Technically, ZEKE would qualify more as the first since Peace Walker's quadrupedal, and Granin specified bipedal. Besides, RAXA is a test model rather than the real deal, the actual Metal Gear of that game was the ICBMG, and we're not entirely sure of its capabilities since it got destroyed before we saw any real use, and the few things we do know about it is via calls to Ghost.
