  • I removed the line stating The Boss to be 'the greatest soldier to have ever lived'

Operation Snake Eater[]

I am confused as to why the phone call between Ocelot and the KGB Chief Director, Ocelot says to him that America expects the Soviets to keep a lid on things. This is basically assuming that the Soviets knew about America framing The Boss on purpose, but I thought that Kruschev was going to start a Nuclear War with America if they didnt prove their innocence. Surely if they knew about the framing of The Boss they would have started a war? This doesnt quite add up to me

Technically, Khrushchev was not going to start the nuclear war, the Red Army was going to had America never proved its "innocence". Khrushchev even implies that he needs the proof to keep the Red Army under control, as his control over them is weakening. Weedle McHairybug 14:05, March 8, 2011 (UTC)

North By Northwest[]

Should it be noted that some of the plot is similar to Alfred Hitchcock's 1959 film North By Northwest? 209.106.160.8 18:00, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

How similar is it? I haven't seen it myself. It might be more appropriate for the MGS3 page if it's significant. --Bluerock 19:13, April 2, 2012 (UTC)
