Role in Portable ops[]
Can someone enlighten me on how Sokolov will be involved in portable ops considering he's dead??
- He appearently survived Volgin's torture and was subsequently transferred to a prison camp (possibly the Gulaughs) upon which Gene rescues him from. I think he'd only be dead after dying of old age since he appears to be in his 50's at the time of Snake Eater, and would have to be pushing his 110s by the time of the events of MGS4 and would probably end up like Zero if he were still alive. We'll just have to assume that he at some point died peacefully.
Im doin aproject on sokolov and yall dont have enogh info[]
Timeline Date of birth Is he deceased MORE...
- We don't know either of those things, so... Everything we know on the guy is on his page, so you'll just have to make do. Sorry. --Fantomas 18:57, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
FOXHOUND[]
I updated his role in Portable Ops, shedding a little more light on the whole "Ghost" thing. I also put him down as a member of FOXHOUND, given the fact that most, if not all, of the "good guys" from Portable Ops go on to eventually join Big Boss in FOXHOUND at the end of the game. It's a big conclusion to jump to, but I think it's safe to make. Ocelot youth 16:51, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Missing Information[]
In the Operation Snake Eater section it skips ahead to where you meet Sokolov and he tells Snake that he is too late. But you see Sokolov before then in the cutscene when you first enter Ponizovje Warehouse Exterior where Volgin threatens him and Ocelot scares him with his "game" of luck causing Sokolov to pee himself right before The Boss stops Ocelot.
