I think it would be good to put the first location template in the Torture room section. however the next section wraps around it. any suggestions how to get around this ? --Drawde83 03:00, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Edits[]

Is there something that I am missing? I fill extras to a section, return later to find out it has been deleted!?!?!?!? Is it me being stupid or not? (I am pretty new to this so sorry if it's me being stupid) Bigbossash 16:32, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Grad[]

For those wondering, "Grad" can mean both fortress and city, so the translation in the article (which is even given in the game) isn't incorrect. --Bluerock 17:45, October 21, 2010 (UTC)

Airfield length (possibly)[]

Okay, I was doing some calculations regarding the chase scene using both cutscenes and gameplay as a guide, plus the Shagohod's top speeds at both Phase 1 and Phase 2, and the first part of the airfield (starting where the Shagohod started turning its augers) up to the turn seemed to be .67 km (the tenth digit repeats, just FYI). The next portion of the airfield (from the turn up to the point where Volgin activates phase 2) seemed to be 1.02 km (like before, the tenth digit repeats), and lastly, the moment from the moment Phase 2 is activated up to his forced breaking (nearly colliding with the mountain wall) seemed to be about 18.267 km (and yet again, the tenth digit repeats). Calculating the second and third results together indicates that the distance is about 19.289 km. If we get into the hypotenuse, that's probably 21.289 km overall. I was wondering whether this is correct or not, and if this should be noted within the article. In case you're wondering why I did the calculations, I was trying to calculate the distance between the Groznyj Grad base/the ground zero for the Davy Crockett and the spot where Volgin died to see whether the Davy Crockett's blast or fallout would affect Volgin's corpse regarding whether or not the XOF commander was Volgin (since it required at least three kilometers for fallout to be spread, based on Rassvet, being 3 km away from the Sokolov lab, being affected with fallout from a radio conversation with Zero). For the record, I used this video as the main source: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVX2I7hqCQ4 I got it at 1:29 to 6:04 overall (1:29 to 3:46 for the Shagohod moving up to the immediate moment the Shagohod entered Phase II; 3:47 to 6:04 for the start of Phase II to when Volgin was forced to break; 1:29 to 1:59 thereabouts for the time between the Shagohod started to move and EVA and Snake started their turn, and 2:00 to 3:46 for after the turn and before the Shagohod entered Phase II).
