I never said that the characters were the same (or intentionally tried to). What I was trying to note was that before The Phantom Pain was confirmed to be Metal Gear Solid V, some sources noted a resemblance between the two characters and used it as one of the clues to speculated that The Phantom Pain was actually a Metal Gear game. - From how it was written, it seemed to be a pretty far flung idea (that the character was actually Marv), in order to lump it in with more significant ones, and theorize that TPP was actually MGS5 because of this. Maybe if we have these sources, I could be a better judge on it, but if it was just wild speculation on fan forums, it doesn't seem all that significant to be included in the article. --Bluerock (talk) 17:24, June 7, 2013 (UTC)
