Steven Jay Blum (born April 28, 1960 in Santa Monica, California) is an American voice actor known primarily for his work in anime dubs and video games. Blum provided the voices of various Genome Soldiers in Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes and the English voice of Gene in Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and Vladimir Aleksandrovich Zadornov in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
Blum's other credits include the voices of Orochimaru in Naruto, Spike Spiegel of the anime series Cowboy Bebop, Kyoshiro Toudoh of the anime series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R1 and R2, and Makoto Shishio of Rurouni Kenshin, and Mugen of the anime series Samurai Champloo. He has also played X-Men's Wolverine in numerous games and in the animated series Wolverine and the X-Men. Blum also voiced TOM, the robotic host of Toonami shown on Cartoon Network in 2000 right up to the block's cancellation in 2008. Blum would once again provide the voice of TOM after Toonami's revival in 2012. He was also the voice of 7-Eleven's "Oh thank heaven" television and radio advertisements. He has also voiced Vincent Valentine in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII and Killer Croc in Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. He is also the voice of Starscream in Transformers: Prime and Zeb in Star Wars Rebels.
