Lieutenant Smith was a member of the Delta Force team that was dispatched to the fortress of Galuade, Gindra during the Galuade Incident in 2002.
Biography[]
Lt. Smith was the only member of his unit other than Sgt. Christine Jenner to survive Black Chamber's ambush in the early stages of the mission. Instead of being killed, he was captured and placed inside a holding cell.
Some time later, Smith found himself sharing the holding cell with Dr. James "Jimmy" Harks. When the GLF guards left to investigate the destruction of the base's power plant, Smith helped Jimmy escape, but died soon after while shielding him from an incoming bullet near one of the entrances to the power plant.
Smith's sacrifice would ultimately be in vain, however, as Jimmy perished shortly thereafter when his handcuffs, rigged with explosives by Black Chamber's leader, Black Arts Viper, were detonated remotely, killing him almost instantly.
