Robinson was the third husband of Julie Danziger and the second stepfather of Emma Emmerich. He married Julie some time after she and Emma had returned to England upon the drowning of her second husband.[1][2][3] Nearing Emma's graduation from high school, however, Robinson was injured by her in self-defense during an alleged sexual assault.[4] This incident inspired her to follow in her stepbrother, Hal Emmerich's footsteps and led to her enrolling into Oxford University.
