Robin Atkin Downes
Robin Atkin Downes (born in London, England) is an British-American actor and voice actor who provided the English voice of Kazuhira Miller and various minor roles in the Metal Gear series. Outside the series, he has appeared in TV shows such as Babylon 5, CSI: Miami, and Angel and in video games such as Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, Halo 2, Haunting Ground, Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow, Assassin's Creed III, Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike, Team Fortress 2, The Last of Us, No More Heroes, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, as well as acting as the voice of the Merovingian in The Matrix: The Path of Neo. He is married to actress Michael Ann Young.
Metal Gear series[]
Downes provided the English voice of the various soldiers in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Jonathan in Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, and Kazuhira Miller in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. In addition to voicing Miller in Ground Zeroes, he also did impersonations of the characters Roy Campbell, Revolver Ocelot, Liquid Snake, and Vulcan Raven during the quiz segment in the ending of the Extra Op, Déjà Vu in the same game.
