Playboy magazine.

Playboy, an American men's lifestyle and entertainment magazine, was founded in Chicago, Illinois in 1953, by Hugh Hefner and his associates. Today, Playboy is one of the most iconic and recognizable brands worldwide, focusing on consumer products and lifestyle offerings for all genders. Its mascot is a rabbit head with tuxedo cuffs.

Relation to Metal Gear[]

The Playboy magazine had a brief appearance in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater within the basement of Graniny Gorki.

The Playboy magazine acted as the basis for the magazine weapon in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, where it could be used to distract the enemy and to replenish psyche by flipping through the book in the model viewer.
