An advisor was responsible for assisting African Prime Minister N'mani in 2018.
While riding in a limousine with N'Mani and Maverick consultant Raiden, the advisor remarked that it had been the Prime Minister's strength of will that had restored peace to their country following a civil war. However, N'mani instead credited this to the will of a strong people, and the ableness of his advisor, who was grateful for the acknowledgment.
When the armed escort accompanying the limo unexpectedly stopped, the advisor wondered what had happened. Courtney Collins and another member of Maverick, explained that someone (later revealed to be Samuel Rodrigues) was blocking the road. During the ensuing ambush, the advisor feared that they wouldn't live through the attack, although N'mani told him to remain calm. Raiden left the vehicle when enemy cyborg soldiers began closing in, ordering the bodyguards to protect the Prime Minister, before collapsing part of a wall to aid the limo's retreat as it sped away.
Behind the scenes
The advisor appears in the opening of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. It is unclear whether he managed to escape the ambush on the convoy.
