The Metal Gear Survive beta is an online open beta for the survival game of the same name. Two versions of the beta exist: One released on January 18-21, 2018, and another released on February 16-18 of the same year (although in some cases, the beta was released a day early). Each beta also had daily missions for each day of the beta. In addition, creating a character for the beta and using the character in the full release will provide special bonuses, including a FOXHOUND nameplate set, a bandana, and a Metal Gear REX headset. The daily login bonuses for the first beta contained a revival pill for each day, plus five revival pills and five each of five medicinal items as an administrator bonus. The second beta will close on February 19, 2018 at 05:59 (GMT).
