Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Soundtrack 2: The Other Side is the second soundtrack of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. It was released on January 26, 2002 under the catalog number KMCA-144, by Konami and features one disc with 20 tracks, all composed by Norihiko Hibino. It is the final Metal Gear based soundtrack to be released under King Records.

"Peter's Theme", (Track 6) was redone for the Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Original Soundtrack as "Sad Man's Theme" and played during the cutscene with Python. Similarly, "Countdown to Disaster" (Track 7) was redone for the Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Original Soundtrack, renamed "Evasion." "Yell Dead Cell" (Track 9) was redone for the Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Original Soundtrack, renamed "Break for the Fortress."

The "Main Theme Motif" appears three times during this soundtrack, during the tracks "Comradeship" (Track 15), "Prelude to Denouement" (Track 18) and "Freedom to Decide" (Track 20).

Among the other 50 songs that can be played in Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix, a remix of "Yell 'Dead Cell'" (from Metal Gear Solid 2), called "MGS2 Mission R" by artist L.E.D., can be played.
