Joel Marton was a former member of Charon Corps. He alongside his comrades ended up dispatched to Dite to investigate the dimension. However, prior to the Captain's arrival six months later, he ended up killed via gunshot wounds. The Captain ultimately discovered his body nearby when trying to recover memory boards for Virgil AT-9. Reeve, a former XOF soldier and an "ally" of the Captain, suspected that Marton was shot by his own comrades. The Captain recovered his Oxygen Tank and later fixed it so that the regions covered by The Dust could be accessed.
