Jennifer's brother was among the soldiers captured at the onset of the Outer Heaven Uprising, held in a prison constantly monitored by Outer Heaven security. His sister, Resistance member Jennifer, infiltrated the Outer Heaven fortress by posing as a member of the medical staff in an attempt to rescue him.[1] At some point, he and two other POWs were placed under the watch of the mercenary Dirty Duck,[2] who later used them as human shields in his fight against FOXHOUND agent Solid Snake.[3] After being rescued, he told Snake of the correct route to escape the fortress.[4]
Behind the scenes[]
When he is rescued by the player in Metal Gear, the POW identifying himself as Jennifer's brother will say that Snake should take the left of three ladders during his escape from Metal Gear's underground base, as the other two terminate before reaching the surface.[4]
