I'm a little confused when it comes to Arsenal Gear. After craching in the Manhatten Bay, Liquid Ocelot retrieved the GW AI. But did he take the entire thing itself? Or is it just sank below the bay? Wouldn't someone find that giant ship and want to figure out what it is? And in doing so, wouldn't that possibly give the hint of The Patriots? I may be over or under thinking this one, but what ever happened to Arsenal Gear? Otaconharter 16:23, January 6, 2010 (UTC)

I think he just retrived the AI computer system. His vessel, Outer Haven, is apparently a different, modified, Arsenal Gear, as I think the Patriots had intended for there to be several of them.
I assume the US government, acting under the Patriots, retrieved the original Arsenal Gear shell from Manhatten, possibly destroying it since it probably no longer had any use. They then must have disseminated whatever suitable story they could come up with to the American public in order to conceal its true purpose.
Anyway, those are my two cents. --Bluerock 16:33, January 6, 2010 (UTC)
I'm not quite certain if that's the reason, seeing how it's implied that Outer Haven is actually the same Arsenal Gear as the one that had smashed into Manhattan. Weedle McHairybug 16:37, January 6, 2010 (UTC)
I thought it was implied that they are different Arsenal Gears, not the same... --Fantomas 16:38, January 6, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, the line from the game is"Snake, can you hear me? Liquid's warship - Outer Haven - is a modified version of an Arsenal Gear model stolen from the Patriots." The way he says an Arsenal Gear implies it's a different one. --Fantomas 16:40, January 6, 2010 (UTC)
Well, that's strange. The way the Arsenal Gear article worded the MGS4 section made it seem as though it was the same one. I'll change it. Weedle McHairybug 16:41, January 6, 2010 (UTC)
