Dolphin was a female member of the private military company Militaires Sans Frontières.
She was mentioned during a fight that broke out between deputy commander Kazuhira Miller and commander Big Boss in Mother Base's sauna due to the former's womanizing nature with two female members of MSF that caused one of the female soldiers' boyfriend to be hospitalized after witnessing it. After reprimanding Miller for setting a very bad example with his behavior, Big Boss then accused him of sleeping with Dolphin and Elephant. Miller denied it, which resulted in the fight escalating. Paz Ortega Andrade witnessed the fight and recorded the event in her diary tapes.
