- In Super Bomberman R (post update 2.1) Naked Snake "Bomber" can be chosen as a character and crabs can be chosen as an accessory. The second accessory in the "Crabs" category, Orange Crab, bears a strong resemblance to the Kenyan Mangrove Crab featured in Crab Battle and MGS3. The impetus for including the crabs is not known, but pairing the two together evokes what seems to be an intended reference to the video.
