Big Mouth up close.
Big Mouth is the first additional boss found in Metal Gear Survive.
Characteristics[]
A large, bipedal creature true to its name, Big Mouth is a large and mobile boss that attacks with a gatling gun arm as well as using its incredible size and weight to rush the player.
Strategy[]
This boss, while physically imposing and capable of dealing significant if not fatal damage can be eliminated quite easily by a player with adequately strengthened armor or weapons. However, before starting combat with Big Mouth it's advised to eliminate the wanderers roaming the area, as they can easily swarm and stagger the player, setting them up for Big Mouth to finish. After the area is clear, the player will want to cause as much damage to the mouth of the enemy, as this is its weak point. After it takes a large amount of damage, Big Mouth will collapse, landing on its side where it will wildly kick and twitch its legs, this is the opportunity for the player to deal severe damage. Continue attacking the mouth of the enemy and it'll likely being defeated. If not, rinsing and repeating is the only option available.

Tips[]
- Players utilizing the Scout subclass can have a significantly easier time against this boss. As they're equipped with Stealth Camo, they can approach the boss and use high powered weaponry such as a suppressed Sniper Rifle, Assault Rifle, Explosives or Shotguns.
- Players using the Jaeger subclass have the option of using ranged weapons and dealing vast amounts of damage from a safe location. Be warned, however, that Big Mouth is equipped with a Gatling Gun appendage that can destroy placed fortifications. If this is the case, a "hit-and-run" strategy will deal adequate damage and guarantee an easy victory if the player maintains a distance that isn't too close or too far.
