Action Gameside was a Japanese-exclusive gaming magazine that was released in 2009. As the name implies, it generally focused on the Action genre of video games. It has five known issues (the first two issues being designated "Volume A" and "Volume B", with the remainder being designated Volumes 1 through 3), covering franchises such as Mega Man, Street Fighter, Metal Slug, Valkyrie no Densetsu, and Metal Gear.
Relationship to Metal Gear[]
Although the magazine itself did not appear in the Metal Gear series proper, its fourth issue (Volume 2)'s cover, released in 2012 and primary coverage (specifically pages 1-32) was the Metal Gear 25th Anniversary.
