Behind the scenes

The AMD-65 assault rifle features in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, as the weapon of the Ocelot Unit soldiers, but is unavailable to the player. In Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, design specs for the rifle, referred to in-game as an ADM65, can be procured in Outer Ops, by eliminating Attack Chopper Units, a Small Armored Unit, a Small Tank Unit, a Main Enemy Unit, and by eliminating an enemy outpost.

"A carbine version of the ADM63, it features a more lightweight design created with airborne and commando units in mind. It is fitted with a large muzzle compensator for improved firing accuracy.
The ADM65 is a hidden masterpiece, deftly balancing stopping power with precision and accuracy. Exactly the kind of weapon you want to have with you on a sneaking mission.
