Solidus even named Raiden after Big Boss. He named him "Jack".

I might also diagnose Raiden with scizophrenia. But only in Revengeance.

Hat I find funny is that Big Boss said that The Patriots were "AIs" and all they could do was "Repeat the same cycle over and over again". And then, The Patriots did the same with their S3 plan, proving that humans tend to follow the same path over and over again, further blurring the differences between the Artificial Intelligence and the Natural Intelligence. They both only ever do the same thing over and over again, such as Big Boss' Outer Heaven being replicated as many times as it was. First as MSF, then as Diamond Dogs, then with Outer Heaven, then with Zanzibar Land, then with Liquid's FoxHound, then with Solidus' Sons of Liberty (God Bless 'em), then with Ocelot's Outer Haven.

The Boss said the problem was with the "Changing of the times", but I say the problem was the inability to let the times change. And perhaps that was the true will of The Boss. Let the times change. Eventually peace will come, when it's ready.

To be honest, none of us have actually finished Metal Gear Solid V. The reason is because the game was released before Kojima could add the final mission, so none of us have finished it all the way through.

I can't wait for the year 2000.

The most important person is the Boss. If she had been killed before Snake Eater, Big Boss and Zero never would have founded the Patriots and there would be no other Metal Gear Solid games because Big Boss never would have started that Mercenary group. The Philosiphers would likely still be as dead as they were in 2009, and the world would spin on with Metal Gears galore.

Deterance IS the only logical peace that we imperfect humans can attain, thus I see no problem in Nuclear Weapons and Metal Gears.

Well, Big Boss wasn't 100% wrong. His methods were questionable, but his goal was pure-ish. Big Boss had been chewed up and spit out by the system. His mentor did nothing wrong, but was blamed for the U.S Government's screw ups, and it costed her life. Big Boss, was simply her student who loved her more than himself, but was still forced in the ultimate form of cruelty to kill her by the U.S at the threat of he and his unit's life. He wasn't supposed to know the truth, and in the end they rewarded him for doing something that he shouldn't have. This is part of the reason why he refused to go by the title Big Boss for the longest time. After this, Big Boss decided to help Zero form a unit that he thought would win freedom and respect for veterans and soldiers, making sure that their rights weren't trampled and that they weren't disposed of when their use was gone. But Zero screwed it up, and interpreted the Boss' will differently, and became the very thing Big Boss wanted to destroy, to the point that he used Big Boss' cells to create clones of him which proved that he was only using soldiers as pawns to be disposed of. That is why Big Boss left the Patriots and FOXHOUND in the first place. He started MSF in hopes of leaving Zero behind and offering a place for soldiers to fight for what THEY thought was right without fear of being disposed of like the Boss was. Big Boss even said he didn't want to become a war monger. Once again, Zero found him, and Miller let them in, setting MSF up against the same people who killed the Boss, and the same principals. The times which constantly change to say that what once was good and okay, is now evil and detestable and should be erased. It was when these times tried to erase Big Boss that vengeance entered his heart. He had to destroy the system that Zero had served, and now had become a part of. And to do that, he ended up fighting the battle the same way, which I believe is why Miller hated him in the end. He used Venom Snake as a sacrifice for his 'Greater Good' just as the U.S had the Boss. Big Boss then totally became what he wanted to destroy in hopes of returning the world from zero to nothing. This began the war between Outer Heaven and The Patriots. This is visualized in MGSV when it shows Phantom Snake walking behind Skull Face whom he had previously killed. It symbolized Big Boss becoming what he sought to destroy.

We all start with something pure. But the compromises we make for our goal determine who we really are. We lie to ourselves and say "It's for the greater good", but when you drag yourself through the flames of Hell just to get to Heaven, you taint your goal, and end up with something else... you end up in Outer Heaven, a shallow shell of what you desired.

I always thought that Raiden was just a carbon copy of Grey Fox. they share the same back story, except it's different countries. Both encounter a Big Boss-like figure, and both end up a rogue Cyborg Ninja who's only goal is to bring down the Patriots.

If it comes to physical strenght, Raiden is on top, if we're counting his cyborg body.

If it's strength emotionally, it's Big Boss. He had to do some hard things in life and that made him a legend.

If it's overall character, it's Solid Snake. As said above by Volcanic, he has a good sense of right and wrong, and while he gets used the wrong way and ends up fighting for the wrong sides some times, Solid Snake fights for what he believes in, tells Raiden to do the same no matter what it is, and then decides to do what is right WITHOUT makeing moral compromises. To Snake, might does NOT make right. The means are NOT justified by the goal. To truly beat your enemy, you must refuse to be as evil as they are. In the end, Solid Snake is the strongest when it comes to character. Even Big Boss got it wrong, and that says a lot because Big Boss is my favorite of the four.

From a video game stand point, yes. You have to foulton them out, though I don't think you can actually kill any skull in the game besides Quiet.

But from a lore stand point, Code Talker was able to pull parasites from The End and The Pain's remains. The End's remains were even still using photosynthasis. I think he got it from The Fear too but I'm not sure.

Not to mention that during the Shadow Moses Incident, Liquid mentioned that he and Snake, as well as their genome soldier brothers were all dying on a genetic level and that they needed the body of Big Boss to rectify this. That they didn't know what or when, but they would all end up with some terminal illness. It appears that that illness was a form of werner's syndrome.

Well, I think he might have had a plan for Death Stranding. Kojima likes that weird stuff. He got some really good voice actors to play some characters, and if you look closely, you might just notice that the game characters look exactly like the voice actors. I've been unable to play death stranding, but I hear it's about as good as MGSV. Or at least that's what I've been told.
