I ordered a Metal Gear REX lego model off of etsy.
I have been slowly building it in my spare time.
Only to find 12 pieces are missing, 2 of which are essential to its structure and not just misc visuals.
Xbox backwards compatibility is a great feature.
It is backwards compatible for Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X.
+10 Points to Microsoftendor!
Plus there is always the PC version
When your lego metal gear rex is still missing one piece and has taken you over six weeks to build because of it.
I think it would be interesting to have a time-skip of about a decade forward and see Raiden have to cope with his son becoming a soldier as well, but learn to accept the fact that while Raiden Jr. is a soldier; he chose to fight rather than being forced to fight.
Something like this.
Raiden : "Dammit James, this is the last thing I wanted for you to do! Why are you cyberized? Why are you working for Maverick?!"
Junior : "To be honest dad, it's because I look up to you. I see what you are capable of and I knew I had to make you proud!"
Raiden : "Proud? You think I am proud of this?!" *gestures to bloody massacre after Raiden defeated a rogue Gekko
Junior : "No. I know you aren't proud of that. I'm talking about that."
*gestures off screen, camera rotates to show a group of first responders and civilians getting into ambulances and receiving first aid.
"Mom told me what you were forced to fight for. And then what you chose to fight for."

---
Could be better written or portrayed but you get the idea. Basically have Raiden be staunchly against his son having volunteered for cyberization and working for a PMC.
But then by the end of the game he is more accepting of his Son's perspective of war as he has more noble reasons to fight rather than violence, blood-shed, money, or glory.
I also want them to continue the MGR:R dynamic.
MGR was Revengenace
MGR2 should have the subtitle of Resurgence
MGR3 should be the finisher and go with the subtitle of Redemption
The replacement parts came in the mail...

I am still missing a single piece.
I'm just going to go to the next town over to the Lego shop and see if they have that single piece.
It's just my headcanon is all.
After all, Jim is a discount version of Jack. A copycat version that tries to be a serious as the original name, but it doesn't have that definitive appeal. And yet, the Jim we know is a badass.
Venom Snake is Dr. Jim Walker
GOOD NEWS
The seller is going to re-imburse me the legos that are missing once I get home and send them a list of the exact ones missing!
PLASTIC GEAR REX will be the bane of Plastic Snake!
EDIT -
Since the seller is being cooperative and the reviews for their custom mecha sets seem mostly positive, implying that this is a rare case, I may just invest some cash into getting -
PLASTIC GEAR SAHELANTHROPUS
I've contacted the seller and am currently waiting for a response

The Hot Wind Blowing
I mean on VR Headsets, not MGS VR for the Playstation.
You mean MGS2 showed you the power of memetic ideas and influence of the masses.
Yes it do.
Why put arbitrary boundaries between the means of the memes?
We noticed on Reddit.
The memes swarmed in.
Kojima doesn't care about saving money when it comes to his end product.
Take a look at MGSV with its budget spent of roughly $80 Million, an expense that Konami was SUPER DISPLEASED with... ... ... until MGSV pulled in profits of $179 Million from sales of just the game alone. And that is its profits without MB Coin microtransactions added into the sales accounting.
Konami is wanting to make the most money while Kojima wants to tell his perfect story.
Konami is all business.
Kojima is all soul.
Eh. But did he mean it as a genuine insult?
Perhaps he was looking at the person and going "I already gave you a playable movie out of MGS4, so why do you want an anime you cannot play?"
I don't think that @WinterLeech is aware that Otakon is actually a self-insert character by Hideo Kojima.
