Mostly just asking out of curiosity. I assume she might have the most positive opinion of Solid just since he seemed to have the best understanding of her will, but curious what y’all think.
Yes. Im a new user of this wiki. Basically im a geek. But a super geek. A geek of… Everything. And now im getting started in Metal Gear’s lore. so i have a question, maybe it is dumb but remember that im new in Metal Gear: Do we have any info about Big Boss’ life before The Joy took him on as an apprentice?

• Name: “Metal Gear: Cobra”
• Setting: All fronts of WW2
• Multiple playable characters (Cobra Unit,) each for different play styles.
The Boss/Joy for MGS-style stealth
Fear for Assassin’s Creed-type gameplay
End for Sniper Elite-style
Sorrow for spying and supernatural stuff
Pain for traditional shooter
Fury for heavy, tanky-style gameplay
• Story would be mainly about the Boss, why she became disillusioned with the USA. Cobras would also be further explored, especially the romance between Boss and Sorrow that leads to the birth of Ocelot and Boss having to shoot Sorrow. Epilogue could show Boss meeting a young Naked Snake.
• Overall Gameplay/Mission Design: A mix of MGS5, 4, and Peace Walker. Missions can be done alone, with AI-controlled companions, or player-controlled companions. Some levels are more open, others in sprawling bases like the classic games. Before each mission you could pick your loadout, but of course can do on-site-procurement along the way too.
• Bosses: Axis version of the Cobras, could delve into German pseudoscience from the time. Players would eventually fight their leader who’d pilot a German mech called the “Gehenpanzer,” German for “walking tank.” That mech’s blueprints would be taken to the Soviet Union at the end of the game and become the basis for the Shagohod.
That’s all I have for now, let me know of your thoughts.

This time I re imagined the events of Snake Eater with two characters from Phantom Pain and how everything could have been "fixed".
I hope that The Boss scene is emotional like in game and that readers will enjoy it!

A Metal Gear Solid stage play. Sounds nuts, right? I know what you may be thinking- "It'll fail! People will hate it!" Well, they said that about MGRR, but now, years later, we are beginning to appreciate it! So, give me a chance.
The plot would basically be a direct musical adaptation of MGS3 (with the ecxeption of Snake meeting the Sorrow after EVA is exposed as the spy), but the play would feature a narrator at the beginning and end. At the end, the narrator says "I'd love to tell you more, but I have to go- it's my first assignment." This hints that the narrator (voiced by David Hayter) is Solid Snake just before the events of Metal Gear.
Songs:

I know the Metal Gear series is over, and Kojima, the creator is gone, and that for a lot of people it is just inconceivable and impossible to get another Metal Gear game either because it would be sacrilege to get a new one not made by the man, or because most think Konami too incompetent to make one or just simply because the series finally deserve to rest in peace.
While I totally understand all of the aboves, I must stress that I think it is absolutely possible to get a great new one without Kojima. I'm sorry to say it, but Kojima is a terrible writer. Don't get me wrong, I love the series he created and what he did with it but sometimes it feels like it was a mission for him to create inconsistencies and plot holes with every new game coming out.
Given into the right hands, I'm sure someone competent could create a great new entry in the saga without creating inconsistencies and respecting was has already been established. (AND, I just think it would be criminal not to make a new stealth game with the FOX engine. The gameplay was soo good in MGSV.)
What makes me think that ? Well, that scene, from "Portable Ops": https://youtu.be/OpL5ggfYAok
Spoilers for those who haven't played.
That scene, right there, it gave me the "classic" Metal Gear felling, it was really well done, emotional, beautiful. Something Metal Gear Solid V lacked unfortunately. And it wasn't made by Kojima.
Enough rambling, let's go to the games I'd like to see:
-A remake of Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. This one NEEDS to happen. They are some of the most crucial entries in the saga. That's the thing. The Outer Heaven Revolt, the fall of both Venom Snake and Big Boss at the hand of Solid Snake. The final showdown. We need to see this happen. Would be so epic to have David Hayter voice a young Solid Snake and Kiefer Sutherland voice Big Boss. Of course some changes would need to be made to make the story consistent with all the retcons and make the games longer and more emotional.
-A remake of Peace Walker. I never understood why he chose to tell such a crucial piece of the story on a portable console. That would be so nice to have a full remake with the Fox engine, same gameplay as MGSV, similar Motherbase development features, instead this time you play as the real man, the real Big Boss.
- A game featuring Gray Fox as the main character. This character is an Iconic one in the series. He is Big Boss' best man. He is someone Solid Snake looked up to when he was still learning the ropes. He's a legend. We could see his relation with Big Boss, maybe see him kill Naomi's parents and dealing with that guilt. That could make a great stealth experience right there. Or play him as the Ninja Cyborg he became after the events of Metal Gear 2 in a game similar to Rising.
-A game featuring The Boss as the main character during World War II. Playing the charismatic legend herself, see how and why she is considered a legend, the mother of the special forces. See her relation with the CIA and the Philosophers, see her training a young John, their relationship.
This is it. Given to the right team, I think the Metal Gear series could still have some beautiful days ahead. What do you guys think ?
If Volgin wouldn't have fired that Nuke, America wouldn't have had to prove its innocence. They wouldn't have sent Naked Snake to kill The Boss, so Naked Snake would never have become Big Boss. By not becoming Big Boss, there wouldn't be a cult worshiping him. That means they wouldn't clone him, so no Solid, Liquid and Solidus Snake. Same thing for Venom, he wouldn't become Big Boss' phantom and would remain his true self. America isn't controlled by the Patriots. Maybe controlled by the Philosophers though. Big Boss never meets Kaz and never creates MSF. No Outer Heaven and no Zanzibar either. All of that happened because Volgin fired that Nuke. Crazy, when you think about it.
