So im going to be starting the metal gear series at some point (forgot whether or not rising is canonical) and my dad bought me rising revengeance off steam. anything i should know baout the others before buying any of the others or playing MGRR? also heres a random meme i found on the internet i always do this when i join a wiki for the first time :)

I've heard a few times that Sam wanted Raiden to beat him, is this true and can someone explain why to me?

Not much besides her appearance was discussed previously so here goes:

Nationality: German. Evidenced by her codename, which is german for "thunderstorm".

Personality: She's very rough-and-tumble / tomboyish in her interactions with Raiden. She can be pretty surly when talking to anyone else. She loves the adrenaline rush she gets while fighting, leading to the wide-eyed expression depicted above.

Place in the game: Intended to take the place of the Mistral and Monsoon body-double fight in World Marshal (before the Sundowner fight).

Cyborg body: Her body (namely her torso, forearms and calves) is hydraulic based, with the aforementioned parts being the pistons. There are rotating joints that allow for more freedom of movement in her elbows, wrists, knees and ankles. The Desperado logo is visible on her left thigh. Her visor works sort of like Sundowner's shields; however, they are designed to lock together better with their slanted design. They also lack any explosive properties.

Fighting style: Gewitter fights both hand-to-hand and with a weapon. Her hand-to-hand style of combat uses her hydraulics to the best of her ability-- she can duck overhead swings by compressing her torso, and can deliver strong point-blank punches or kicks by shooting a piston extremity out with extreme force at a target.

Weapon: A HF club-like weapon that can split into a segmented, whip-like weapon. It's roughly two times the length of a baseball bat when extended. It can be used one-handed, but the handle allows for a two-handed approach.

Hi, i've been looking for the full sized image of this raiden cover below but cannot seem to find it. It would be really dope if you could drop the link of the image / the image itself in the replies ( if you can ). Thanks

I once read a page that said that in development, Raiden was his real name and not a nickname. It said that he was supposed to be named "Raiden" and then a last name. I forgot what it was, but ChatGPT said that it was Maurice.

I do not know the legitamacy of this, but supposadly this was what his last name was in development of MGS2. So maybe Raiden's full name would be Jack Maurice? I don't know.

So, I know this sounds outlandish, but what if world marshal brought Sam back to life, and planned to take out the president and blame it on some random country to start a war, and when Sam goes to do it, he sees Raiden and his memories come back, and then they become friends and go fight world marshal.

It would have that mechanic from Lego Star Wars: the clone wars where you hold a button and it switches to the other character in a different place, this would also add 2 player to the game. Raiden would play like he normally does, and Sam would play how he does in the dlc.

Idk what I was thinking but this just popped in my head and I wanted to ask y’all if it’s a dumb idea or a good one
