History Summary: The Turkic people called the Zanzibari have lived in the region for centuries but never had a modern nation-state to call their own until the 1990’s with the collapse of the Soviet Union. Under Soviet rule, they were an autonomous region of the Tajik SSR, serving as a religious cushion separating the rest of the Union from Afghanistan and Pakistan. The events of Operation: Snake Eater caused the USSR to lose interest in the region, letting it fall into financial decay. During the Soviet-Afghan War, Zanzibaristan served as a staging ground for Soviet entry into Afghanistan. Under the reign of Mikhail Gorbachev, Zanzibaristan was finally reorganized to be its own SSR within the Soviet Union, but this of course didn’t last long. After Soviet collapse, Zanzibaristan almost immediately was thrown into a war for independence against neighboring Tajikistan, who saw the land as rightfully theirs. It would be fought throughout the mid-90’s, with the Tajiks slowly but surely winning. But then in 1995, a mercenary company fleeing from South Africa would offer their services to the Zanzibari, which they would accept. The mercenaries would singlehandedly turn the conflict around in their favor, winning Zanzibaristan their independence in 1997 and repopularizing PMC’s. The Zanzibari War for Independence would also be known as the “Mercenary War.” But out of nowhere, the mercenaries do a coup and take over the government for themselves. The old government rallies with Muslim rebels to form the “Free Zanzibar Coalition” as an armed resistance. Big Boss eventually reveals that he’s still alive, and Zanzibaristan begins invading nuclear disposal sites around the world…

This is about to be NEW CANON
I have seen lots of polls , in which most of you thought Venom remained loyal to BigBoss
I hate to break it to you... but
VENOM didn’t remain as the Phantom of the BigBoss after the events of MGTPP
And before you jump me , let me explain
Please read the clues I’m providing then judge for yourself
1- the smirk 😏 : the smirk 😏 that Venom gave after he finished listening to the tape of (the man who sold the world)
Thats not a smirk of a guy who accepted his fate
2- the glass punch : also after Venom heard the tape , that punch strongly suggest that he is destroying the image of BigBoss in his mind
Combining that with the smrik , its a very strong hint
But The Ace in the Hole
The Smoking Gun
The Slam dunk
is below
3- when Solid snake was captured in MGS1,he made a long call with Naomi in which he revealed that he had only of good friend , his name was :
Frank Jaeger aka Gray Fox
Then Campbell said : BigBoss most trusted Lieutenant
Solid said : He was being held a prisoner of Outer Heaven !!!!!!!!!!!!!
So if Venom and BigBoss were on good terms :
* Why is the BigBoss’s most trusted Lieutenant is a prisoner in Outer Heaven ????????????????
* And why BigBoss needs to send Solid to destroy Outer Heaven if everything is OK ??
In conclusion:
The story of Metal Gear SAGA can’t be straight unless Venom splitted from BigBoss and even had war between them , hence the capture of Gray Fox
Again please read the thread, and lets hear your opinions
