It's story was rushed and needed a lot of support. The plot in general had very little feeling or presence in the game play. And its plot was reduced to just a couple of very very very long cut scenes.
It had too much plot twists, long cutscenes pr flashbacks about intel and scientific and technological stuff your mind goes ka-boom to even understand the basics. Besides the long codec call; so yeah, that was all too much
Yeah, MGS2 was a close 2nd for me. I think I also didnt like them because it followed MGS1 where you do a lot, and it turns out the whole time you were being played.
I've not played MGR. But since Kojima was not part of it, I can only imagine it has 120% less Story, leaving it with 80% story. Which is not too much at all😂
the plot is decent and the dialogue is memorable, it's just waaaay too short. The entire gameplay, including cutscenes averages out to the standard length of only cutscenes in mgs1 (bascially, mgrr takes the same time to play all the way through as it does to watch a complete compilation of mgs1 cutscenes on youtube: about 4.5 hours)
