It has become apparent that the site is becoming swamped with a huge influx of images, which are being continually added into huge image gallerys in certain articles. The
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance page is a prime example, but also others like
Solid Snake.

I believe we all need to come up with a policy for the wiki to define what images we really require in the articles themselves.

One suggestion is to remove galleries altogether, and create links to image categories on each subject. Another is to have subpages of each article devoted solely to images. Or, the galleries could be restricted to a specific limit, keeping only essential image types useful to the article, while moving the rest elsewhere.

I welcome any other thoughts and ideas on how to approach this. Perhaps there are some good examples on other wikis.
